If you currently have the ability to insert emojis into the text messages and emails that you send from your iPhone, then you added the emoji keyboard on your iPhone at some point in the past. This is one of the most common settings that iPhone users will change, as emojis have become very prevalent as a communication mechanism.
But if you don’t use emojis very often, then you might find the presence of the emoji button on the keyboard to be distracting, or that you often press it unintentionally. If you are certain that you no longer wish to have the option to include emojis in text messages or emails, then you can remove the keyboard from your device.
Deleting the Emoji Keyboard or a Foreign Language Keyboard on an iPhone 7
Step 1: Open the Settings menu.
Step 2: Scroll down and select the General option.
Step 3: Scroll down and open the Keyboard menu.
Step 4: Tap the Keyboards option at the top of the screen.
Step 5: Swipe left on the Emoji option.
Step 6: Tap the red Delete button.
Note that deleting the emoji keyboard from your iPhone will not affect your contacts’ ability to send them to you. Additionally, if you decide later that you would like to start using the emoji keyboard again, then you can reinstall it.
