The alarm feature on the iPhone can quickly replace any other type of alarm that you may have been using. Your iPhone is typically near you, it lets you create a very high number of alarms that can all be easily customized, and those alarms can come with you if you spend the night away from home.
But this flexibility also has a drawback; you might wind up with a large number of alarms on your device, making it more difficult to find the ones that you use all the time. If you fnd that this is happening, then it might be time to delete some of them. Our guide below will walk you through the steps of removing an unwanted alarm from your iPhone 5.
Deleting an iPhone Alarm
These steps were written on an iPhone 5, in iOS 9. These same steps will work for other iPhone models using iOS 7 or higher.
Step 1: Open the Clock app.
Step 2: Tap the Alarm tab at the bottom of the screen.
Step 3: Tap the Edit button at the top-left corner of the screen.
Step 4: Tap the red circle to the left of the alarm that you want to delete.
Step 5: Tap the Delete button to the right of the alarm to remove it from your iPhone.
You can then tap the Done button at the top-left corner of the screen when you are finished to exit the editing mode of the alarms menu.
